My experience with the Tampa Bay Rays began during the 2023 MLB season as a Social Media Intern, where I supported the club’s digital storytelling across all major platforms. Following the internship, I joined the Big Ten Network in Chicago before returning to the Rays in August 2024 as a full-time Social Media Specialist.
Across my roles with the organization, I have executed and supported social strategy across Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube, contributing to both the main Rays accounts and auxiliary accounts including Rays mascot Raymond, Tropicana Field, and emerging ballpark-related accounts.
A key focus of my work has been developing and executing content strategies that fit our brand voice and finding new ways to connect with fans. This includes collaborating on platform-specific storytelling approaches and helping grow engagement across Instagram Reels and TikTok through trend-aware, high-performing content.
I have also played an active role in influencer outreach and community engagement efforts, identifying and coordinating with local creators to attend home games and amplify the Rays brand within new and emerging audiences.
In addition to content publishing and strategy, I regularly analyze performance metrics via Emplifi across platforms to evaluate content impact, identify trends, and inform future creative direction. My work includes collaborting on and publishing a wide range of content formats, including Instagram Carousels, Stories, Reels, TikToks, YouTube videos, graphics, photography, and copy-driven posts across all channels.
